L&E attorney Sara Skelton received an Up & Coming Lawyer Award from Missouri Lawyers Media on Thursday night in Saint Louis. The award goes to “tomorrow’s future leaders” in the legal profession, and honors attorneys 40 and under throughout the state.
Sara was honored for her work in catastrophic injury cases. In her time as an associate at the firm she has played a key role in significant matters. Previously she worked as a law clerk for Judge Mark Pfeiffer in the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District, and as a legal analyst with Kelly Managed Services.
A graduate of UMKC School of Law, Sara served as staff member on the Urban Lawyer during that time. She was magna cum laude as an undergrad at Truman State University where she majored in Spanish.
