Missouri attorneys spoke in Jefferson City this week, as active participants in the fight to preserve the state’s access to the civil justice system. Langdon & Emison Partner Brett Emison, as president of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, spoke to legislators in February on issues pertaining to a Statute of Repose bill which would limit Missourians’ ability to sue manufacturers of defective products, and would allow foreign manufacturers to sidestep liability.
