Brett Simon
Brett is a member of Langdon & Emison’s Complex Torts division. He practices out of the firm’s Kansas City office, where he focuses his practice on catastrophic injury cases and a full array of personal injury matters.
Brett was previously an associate at a large defense firm in Kansas City, where he developed and executed nation-wide defense strategies for clients including product liability matters. He utilizes his knowledge of defense strategies to fight for his clients who have been catastrophically injured or have lost a loved one due to defective products. At his previous firms in his career, Brett has worked on several complex cases, including representing lenders and servicers in actions with debtors, and also he has managed commercial litigation disputes.
Brett was recognized by the 2023 Best Lawyers in America as part of their “Ones to Watch” feature, which highlights the best young lawyers in America. He is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
