Langdon & Emison partner Brett Emison will present at the American Association for Justice 2016 Annual Convention on July 25 in Los Angeles. Mr. Emison will be featured on a distinguished panel of speakers at the Products Liability Section Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Program, presenting on the topic of “Evaluating Product Liability Cases: Do I Take the Case or Not”?
Mr. Emison will discuss factors to consider in evaluating a potential product liability case and will offer practical tips for identifying products cases involving post-collision fires; airbag and seat belt failures; seatback failures and reclined seats; roof crush and vehicle rollovers; and tire, brake and other auto product failures. During his presentation, he will also share experiences and lessons learned from various product liability cases Langdon & Emison has handled across 30 years of practice.
The CLE will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. PDT. Other CLE topics include providing liability of construction equipment rental companies and dealers for workplace accidents; pitfalls and ethics of co-counseling product liability cases; and bankruptcy issues in products liability cases.
